Carmen Rasmusen (born 25 March 1985) is a contestant on American Idol, who finished 6th on the second season of the competition.

Carmen was brought back to compete in the Wildcard round. She sang "Can't Fight the Moonlight" by LeAnn Rimes. She was chosen by judge Simon Cowell to become a member of the Top 12.

During the first week, Carmen sang "You Can't Hurry Love" by The Supremes. She garnered enough votes to be considered "safe" that week.

Carmen sang "Hopelessly Devoted to You" by Olivia Newton-John. She garnered enough votes to be considered "safe" that safe.
